Upcera ST (Super Translucent) White is a foundational, unshaded yttria-stabilized zirconia block engineered to be the high-strength workhorse of a dental laboratory. Unlike the newer 4D gradient blocks (like Explore or Aevra) that have built-in shade transitions, ST White provides a uniform, unshaded blank canvas with consistent mechanical properties throughout the entire puck.
Because it lacks a pre-established shade or strength gradient, it offers maximum clinical versatility. It is highly indicated for dual purposes: building high-strength cores and copings (which will subsequently be layered with veneering porcelain for custom aesthetics) as well as durable full anatomy (monolithic) restorations where extreme load-bearing strength is required.
